The blogger has that list of questions that remain unanswered to which I would add- Why the name 'Bowl?'
There was mention of a robust wartime defense industry in the area, and an active naval base after the war, ...seems a few lanes could have been thrown in at one time in some remote corner of the 'oversized quonset hut' ...for all those guys with money to burn in their pockets.
Still, though, no mention of any bowling alley activity as this piece of course focused more on the live music aspect of the history.
